I work from a strength-focused perspective, which means I like to help clients develop and amplify what they do well. I find a healthy dose of humor is helpful in the therapeutic relationship, and many of my clients find my approach to be warm and engaging.
I do not believe that one kind of psychotherapy is any better than another, so I use techniques from many different schools. Our sessions may include communication skills development, mindfulness training, techniques to help you learn about yourself and your habitual patterns, EMDR, visualization, writing, and brainstorming.
